Dispatch

All cloth is cut to order and dispatched within five business days. The cutting schedule is confirmed by email when the order is accepted.

Freight is charged separately

Freight is never included in the cloth price, and there is no free-shipping threshold. It is charged on the chargeable weight of the packed parcel, quoted by destination zone and by service level.

How the chargeable weight is worked out

Actual weight is the quality's gram weight multiplied by its width and the length ordered. Volumetric weight reflects the space the parcel occupies (length x width x height / 5,000). Carriers bill on whichever is greater, so a bulky parcel can cost more than its weight alone suggests.

Packing affects the freight

We choose the most economical packing that still protects the cloth, and it changes the freight. A folded parcel compresses well and stays under the long-piece threshold; a parcel rolled on a tube travels flat but carries more air. Tell us before dispatch if you need a specific method.

Confirmed before dispatch

The figure shown at checkout is an estimate for the qualities ordered. We weigh and measure the packed parcel and confirm the final freight before dispatch; any difference appears on the final invoice.

Bulk orders

Orders above 60 kg chargeable weight are not quoted automatically. They move to consolidated freight and we will email a quotation.

Customs & duties

Prices exclude duties and taxes. Any import duty, VAT or clearance charge is payable by the recipient.

Tracking

A tracking reference is sent by email when the order leaves the mill. Member accounts can also track orders in their account.
