- Long-staple flax from Normandy, France, certified to the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ standard
- Old-money Italian character — crisp, structured and rich in pattern
- A natural give on selected qualities, and it presses and holds
- Selected qualities are hand-washable in cold water; never machine
Master is our linen story, and it starts in Normandy. Long-staple flax from the 40°–55°N belt, certified to the Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ standard — the successor to European Flax — with a fully traceable, sustainably grown supply chain.
In the hand it behaves more like a worsted than a linen: crisp, structured, and it presses and holds. Selected qualities carry a natural give and can be hand-washed in cold water. Never machine.
Why Normandy
The 40°–55°N band is the world's flax belt. Climate, soil and a long regional tradition in Normandy and Flanders make it the source of the finest long-staple fibre. Certified fibre: length over 80 mm, fineness over 18.5 μm, and heat dissipation about five times that of wool.
