About this quality

Why it sells

  • Inspired by the Duke of Windsor — precise, classic, aristocratic
  • An innovative construction: Super 140s + 350 g + 3-ply
  • Excellent cutting performance; holds a line and resists creasing
  • A silky hand with a fine, discreet lustre

Duke exists because the two things customers ask for are usually in conflict: they want a cloth with body, and they want it to feel fine. Super 140s gives the fineness; 350 g and a 3-ply construction give the body.

The result cuts beautifully, resists creasing and carries a silky hand with a fine lustre — an English cloth with an unusually Italian surface.

Detail

Super 140s + 350 g + 3-ply

The construction is the point. Three plies of Super 140s twisted together hold the weight of a much heavier cloth without the stiffness, which is what lets Duke be both substantial and fine in the hand.
