About this quality

Built for the road

  • Super 140s Australian merino, mercerised, with 2% cashmere
  • 13% durable weft stretch — no bagging, no distortion, no pilling
  • Crease-resistant and easy-care; fine, light and breathable
  • Moisture-wicking and quick-drying; hand wash only, never machine

Voyager is a performance cloth that does not announce itself as one. The wool is Super 140s Australian merino, mercerised to remove the fibre's outer scale layer — which is what gives it a silk-like lustre and hand, better shrink resistance, and less prickle against the skin. Two percent cashmere softens it further.

The stretch comes from a restructured polyester, engineered at the molecular level rather than blended in as an elastic. The result is 13% durable weft stretch with no bagging, distortion or pilling, plus moisture management and anti-static. Production of the fibre uses over 53% less energy than conventional polyester.

Detail

Two technologies, two jobs

Mercerised wool changes the surface of the fibre. The restructured polyester changes the molecular backbone. One delivers lustre, shrink resistance and comfort; the other delivers 13% durable stretch, moisture management and anti-static — with over 53% lower production energy.
